Our family story
Our Story
Some family traditions are passed down through recipes. Ours was passed down at a sewing machine.
For three generations, sewing has been more than a skill in our family—it has been a way of caring for the people we love.

Where it began
A skill passed down
My grandmother had to learn to sew during a time when finding beautiful new clothes wasn’t simply a matter of going shopping.
In the Soviet Union, well-made clothing was often difficult to buy, so sewing wasn’t just a hobby—it was a practical skill that allowed families to create what they couldn’t purchase.
She passed those skills on to my mother. For her, sewing remained both a necessity and a creative passion. She made clothes for herself, for me, and for my sister. Our home always had a sewing machine, rolls of fabric, paper patterns spread across the table, and a project in progress. Creating clothing with your own hands simply felt like a natural part of everyday life.
I grew up believing that if you wanted a beautiful dress, you simply made it. That was simply how things were in our family.
Finding my path
From curiosity to craft
While other children dressed their dolls in store-bought outfits, I designed and sewed clothes for mine—first by hand, and later on a sewing machine.
Looking back, I realize I was already learning the skills that would shape my future.
What began as childhood curiosity eventually became my profession.
I graduated from the Kharkiv College of Textile and Design and later earned my degree from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. My education gave me the technical knowledge behind what had already become a lifelong passion.
The studio today
Tradition, made modern
Today, we continue the family tradition that began three generations ago.
While our story began with traditional sewing, every pattern we publish is developed using modern professional methods, combining traditional craftsmanship with today’s digital tools.
My mother brings decades of practical sewing experience and an instinct for creating garments that are comfortable, wearable, and enjoyable to make. I bring professional expertise in garment construction, pattern development, grading, and digital pattern making.
Together, we create sewing patterns that combine the warmth of family tradition with the precision of modern pattern engineering.
Every pattern is carefully designed, tested, and refined to help you achieve professional-looking results while enjoying the creative process. Whether you’re sewing your first garment or your hundredth, our goal is the same: to help you create something you’ll love to wear and feel proud to say,
I made this myself.
